QC screens are utilized in the seed and grain industry to separate foreign and undesirable matter from products based upon size. Generally, scalping screens are used first in a series where the desired product falls through the screen size and the larger foreign products are “scalped” out. Sifting is thus used next when the desired product is larger than the particular screen and all smaller particulates pass through. Air/screen cleaners and vibratory conveyors from all parts of the world do their magic because of the products that we produce.
